The last of us

The world is growing darker by the day. Compromise and corruption erode the very fabric of righteousness. We are called to stand—not as passive spectators, but as warriors in the army of the Living God. The battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). This is not a game. This is war.

The Call to Arms

Too many have grown complacent, numbed by the distractions of this world, lulled into a slumber of self-indulgence and apathy. But now is the time to wake up. Now is the time to shed passivity. We must take hold of the divine weapons God has given us (2 Corinthians 10:4). The battlefield is all around us—in our hearts, in our homes, in our communities, and beyond. Will we cower, or will we rise?

Anger at Sin: A Holy Fire

There is a righteous anger that God calls us to embrace. It is a fury against the sin that seeks to enslave and destroy us. Jesus Himself overturned tables in the temple when He saw His Father’s house defiled (Matthew 21:12-13). If we claim to love what is good, then we must hate what is evil (Romans 12:9). Sin is not just a minor inconvenience; it is the poison that kills, the enemy that seeks to consume. If we do not declare war on it, we have already lost.

We Transform through battle/affliction

This battle is not fought in human strength. It is won through the power of God working within us. He strengthened David against Goliath (1 Samuel 17:45-47). He also empowered Gideon to overcome the Midianites with only three hundred men (Judges 7:7). God trains our hands for war—He purifies, strengthens, and equips us for the fight. Our mentality should be strong and courageous ready to stand against mighty afflictions. Now refinement is painful, but it is necessary. Every struggle, every hardship is an opportunity to be shaped into a warrior for Christ.

Embrace the Tension

This is not a gentle invitation—it is a call to arms. Rise up. Reject the lies of the enemy. Pray with authority. Live with conviction. Abandon sin like the plague it is and pursue holiness with everything in you. Let your life be a testimony of unwavering faith in the face of darkness. We are the last of us—the remnant who refuse to bow, the faithful who stand firm till the end.

A Final Charge

Do not be deceived; neutrality is not a choice. You either fight or you fall. God is raising up a generation that will not be silent, that will not compromise, that will not retreat. Will you be among them?

Pick up your sword. Speak the word of God over all resistance. The war is here. And victory belongs to the Lord! Hallelujah!

“The Lord is a warrior; the Lord is His name.” – Exodus 15:3
